The Last Spark

In a dystopian future in Denver, Kai, one of the few remaining humans, struggles to survive alongside Gearhead, a deactivated service robot he salvaged. They encounter a derelict research facility and find a prototype neural network that might offer a chance to revive Gearhead and bring back a semblance of humanity. However, their hope is dashed when Gearhead sacrifices himself to protect Kai from automated security bots. Despite overwhelming despair, Kai finds renewed hope when Gearhead miraculously reactivates, and vows to find a way to repair him.
